It’s Potty Time [VHS] It’s Potty Time Is Not For Parents. It was designed for children in order to take as much work off the parents as possible. Children should begin watching this video as soon as they watch TV. They will not potty train at this time, but they will learn the songs and sing them all the time. When their bodies are ready, usually between 18 & 24 months, they begin to understand the songs they have been singing and quickly translate the words into action. In no time at all they develop proper bathroom etiquette.

This is an fun easy way to toilet train young children. I am using it now for a 31 month old who has a 19 month old sibling. They are both wathcing the video together. It is one of their favorite movies. To my surprise the 19 month old has been csught sitting on the potty singing the songs! Won’t be long now for both children to be completely trained!!
Customer Review: Not for beginner potty trainers!
I think this VHS was actually detrimental to my grandson’s potty training. The only use he saw for a potty chair like his was a toy bear; all the children in the tape used the big potty and were 4+ it looked like. So, back at square one where he thinks his potty chair is a toy. This VHS might be ok for bigger kids, but even then I would like to see a little less extaneous material, ie, party footage, etc.

These videos are FANTASTIC… if you’re interested in a cheap mind-numbing babysitter and teaching your children nothing more than how to watch television. Please please, if you are a concerned parent, do your research about these videos! I received several of these videos when my daughter was 7 months old (she’s two now) and I agree with several of the other reviews that they are nothing but a series of commercialized toys in a very cheaply made setting with synthesized music. What are babies going to learn from that? They did nothing for my daughter. I wrote a research paper on the topic of these videos and after examining several recently published studies as well as a good deal of other information pertaining to the topic, frankly, I agree that not only are babies just too young to process what they are seeing (especially in such a rapid secession) but that it can actually hinder their development in speech and attention span. PARENTS!!!! READ THIS BOOK: THE ELEPHANT IN YOUR LIVING ROOM: MAKE TELEVISION WORK FOR YOUR KIDS by DIMITRI CHRISTAKIS. This book compiles a great deal of research in one place and is laid out in a very cohesive and interesting manner geared towards parents which attempts to make sense of how you can actually make television an educational experience for your children.
Customer Review: Eh, it’s alright
I’m pretty ambivalent on this one. I’ve seen MUCH better baby videos, but I’ve also seen MUCH worse! I’d never seen a baby einstein video before I got this one, so I was expecting something a little different. This is pretty much just music playing in the background while showing various toys/objects. Not too interesting for ME, but my son likes it – for short amounts of time. All in all, there are other videos I’d like to watch more, but I’ll turn it on if I need a few minutes to myself.

I orginally read the story from which this movie is adapted from and was blown away by the powerful story about regaining family after loss. But, this movie does not live up to the story that bears it’s name and honestlessly it’s like watching a lifetime movie- it’s script lacks depth, feeling, and emotion that was in the book plus the melodramatic acting make this movie a real bore.

Is baby warm & toasty?) … but instead he jumped straight to his Basic 5 “S”’s. His book probably covered it better but I didn’t bother to look there.

About Eureka
Though the exact year is unknown, Eureka’s long history begins prior to 1895 in Binghamton, New York, where the company still resides today. Then known as the Eureka Tent & Awning Company, its first wares were canvas products–most notably, Conestoga wagon covers and horse blankets for nineteenth century American frontiersmen–as well as American flags, store awnings, and camping tents.

The company increased production of its custom canvas products locally throughout the 1930s and during the 1940 and even fabricated and erected the IBM “tent cities” just outside Binghamton. The seven acres of tents housed thousands of IBM salesmen during the company’s annual stockholders meeting, which had since outgrown its previous locale. In the 1940s, with the advent of World War II and the increased demand for hospital ward tents, Eureka expanded operations and began shipping tents worldwide. Ultimately, upon the post-war return of the GIs and the resultant housing shortage, Eureka turned its attention to the home front during the 1950s by supplying awnings for the multitude of mobile homes that were purchased.

In 1960, Eureka’s new and innovative Draw-Tite tent, with its practical, free standing external frame, was used in a Himalayan Expedition to Nepal by world renowned Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person documented to summit Mt. Everest only six years earlier. In 1963, Eureka made history during its own Mt. Everest ascent, with more than 60 of its tents sheltering participants from fierce 60+ mph winds and temperatures reaching below -20°F during the first all American Mt. Everest Expedition.

For backpackers and families, Eureka introduced its legendary Timberline tent in the 1970s. Truly the first StormShield design, this completely self-supporting and lightweight backpacking tent became one of the most popular tents the entire industry with sales reaching over 1 million by its ten year anniversary.

Eureka tents have also traveled as part of several historic expeditions, including the American Women’s Himalayan Expedition to Annapurna I in 1978 and the first Mt. Everest ascents by a Canadian and American woman in 1986 and 1988. In recent history, tents specially designed and donated by Eureka sheltered Eric Simonson and his team on two historic research expeditions to Mount Everest, this time in a quest for truth regarding the 1924 attempted summit of early English explorers George Mallory and Andrew Irvine. During the 1999 expedition, the team made history finding the remains of George Mallory, but the complete mystery remained unsolved. Returning in 2001 to search for more clues, the team found amazing historical artifacts which are now on display at the Smithsonian.

We purchased two of the Grasshopper sleeping bags for our boys (ages 3 & 5) for camping in our pop-up camper. They work perfectly!! They are warmer than my Mountain Hardware sleeping bag! The temperatures get below freezing and they still have no problems.
