Medfield College student Dexter Riley(Kurt Russell) was just another underachiever in a group of friends on the brink of being booted out of school by ever-flustered Dean Higgins(Joe Flynn). That is, until an accident with the science lab’s new computer results in Dexter getting a super-charged brain. Soon, the world is catering to Dexter and other colleges are vying for him. It’s a bit much for an innocent, unworldly guy like Dexter to take, even with his newfound smarts. Even local big-shot businessman A.J. Arno(Cesar Romero) has taken an interest in Dexter, though more as a tool for playing the ponies than anything else. Customer Review: Great Case for Canon Powershot SD770 IS Digital Camera
I bought this camera case, along with a Canon Powershot SD770 IS Digital Camera, a month ago. I got the case in neon [green] and I really like the color. The case perfectly fits my Canon digital camera. There’s about a half inch of extra space toward the top of the case, which I use to fold and place my camera cord inside, before I zip the case shut. The pocket on the outside is tiny, but just large enough to fit a second memory card, or a few dollar bills folded up, if need be. I definitely recommend this camera case if you have a Canon Powershot SD770 IS Digital Camera. They’re a perfect pair!

I purchased this as a video, and was not that impressed. It has nice surf footage, but the yoga instruction is really bad. The time would have been better spent slowing going through each poses, versus racing through a large number of poses. Skip this DVD, take a lesson at you local yoga place.

These videos are FANTASTIC… if you’re interested in a cheap mind-numbing babysitter and teaching your children nothing more than how to watch television. Please please, if you are a concerned parent, do your research about these videos! I received several of these videos when my daughter was 7 months old (she’s two now) and I agree with several of the other reviews that they are nothing but a series of commercialized toys in a very cheaply made setting with synthesized music. What are babies going to learn from that? They did nothing for my daughter. I wrote a research paper on the topic of these videos and after examining several recently published studies as well as a good deal of other information pertaining to the topic, frankly, I agree that not only are babies just too young to process what they are seeing (especially in such a rapid secession) but that it can actually hinder their development in speech and attention span. PARENTS!!!! READ THIS BOOK: THE ELEPHANT IN YOUR LIVING ROOM: MAKE TELEVISION WORK FOR YOUR KIDS by DIMITRI CHRISTAKIS. This book compiles a great deal of research in one place and is laid out in a very cohesive and interesting manner geared towards parents which attempts to make sense of how you can actually make television an educational experience for your children.
Customer Review: Eh, it’s alright
I’m pretty ambivalent on this one. I’ve seen MUCH better baby videos, but I’ve also seen MUCH worse! I’d never seen a baby einstein video before I got this one, so I was expecting something a little different. This is pretty much just music playing in the background while showing various toys/objects. Not too interesting for ME, but my son likes it – for short amounts of time. All in all, there are other videos I’d like to watch more, but I’ll turn it on if I need a few minutes to myself.

Customer Review: The Perfect Answer For DVD/VHS Player Recorder
This was the “perfect” answer to allow our newly purchased DVD/VHS Player Recorder to rest underneath the stand and allowing us to place our new 26 inch color HD/LCD TV on top of the stand. Since there wasn’t enough room to position both on the furniture we wanted to use for both,. . . .it fit the bill perfectly. The stand dimensions and its’sturdy construction allowed for easy placement of both components without any problem as these new tv’s are very light in weight. We are really glad we found this item and it now is in good use “before” the mandatory HD TV conversion.

Hey Chris Gore you sure must be leadin’ a pretty sheltered life if this here is the strangest and most compelling thing you ever seen. But I’ll agree it sure is pretty compelling and just a little strange. All these guys do is catch big ole catfish with their bare hands. It’s a tradition and they call it “noodling”. It looks like a lotta fun. I’m a documentary fan and love learning about people and culture. I’d recommend “Okie Noodling” to folks interested in seeing somethan they probably haven’t, people that just enjoy a good documentary and those that like the outdoors, especially fishing.
